A rally on October 16th brought more than 1,000 demonstrators to Downtown L.A.; American Apparel employees were a major presence. At issue were the rights of immigrants, the war in Iraq, healthcare, and the governor¹s recent veto of AB 2895, the bill that would have allowed Undocumented workers to get driver¹s licenses.
